According to the European law on personal data protection – the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – we would like to inform you that your personal data, which you have to provide to get access to the Digi4SME platform is used for administrational purposes, only. Whenever the following Privacy Policy mentions “service”, it means the e-learning platform created within the project Digi4SME (project number 2020-1-IT01-KA226-VET–009004 CUP: G37H20002310006), available under https://digi4sme.eu/ , funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ program.
Stowarzyszenie “Centrum Wspierania Edukacji i Przedsiębiorczości” (hereinafter referred to as CWEP) with the offices in Rzeszów, 35-016, ul. Hoffmanowej 19, registered in the District Court in Rzeszów, XII Commercial Department of National Court Registry, KRS number 0000211526, holder of tax identification number NIP: 813-351-94-55 and a statistical number REGON 180189259, is an administrator of personal data provided in connection with the use of the service, hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”. Personal Data provided is processed in compliance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
Using the service provided by CWEP implies that you consent to the practice of collecting information and the use of said information in a manner that is in accordance with the principles specified herein.
The Personal Data that are processed are stored during the period of using the service. In case the service has not been used (accessed) for the period of 12 months, the Personal Data might be permanently deleted in compliance with this Privacy Policy.
The User has the right to withdraw the consent given for processing Personal Data at any time. The withdraw of the consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. The User has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
What kind of data we collect
In order to use the service, you are required to provide some Personal Data (first and last name, e-mail address, and optionally data that can be additionally provided in the profile). In case you do not provide this information, we will not be able to provide you the access to the service.
It is important to note that consent from third parties is required in the event that any third-party Personal Data is being disclosed to CWEP. CWEP asks that all Personal Data provided be valid, accurate, up-to-date, and all changes should be introduced as soon as possible.
Each time you access the service, our network server automatically downloads visit-related information. This information includes: domain URL or website domain, the type of browser being used, the operating system, the websites which were accessed and the date and time of the visit. Moreover, pseudonymized data about the visits is collected and used solely for the purpose of providing technical support and also to secure our rights in case of a security breach or violating the use of the service. If such information is attributed to you, such action is taken in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
All data required to log in sent between the visitor of the service and CWEP is encrypted, which helps to minimize the risk of data leakage.
Purpose of information use
The collection of Personal Data by CWEP is aimed at providing Users with safe, trouble-free and tailored access to the service. Moreover, the Personal Data given to CWEP is used by CWEP in order to register the User and to give the access to the service.
Personal Data, or parts of it, could also be shared with other users of the service, depending on the settings of the user’s profile.
The association CWEP collects and processes User Personal Data, or orders third parties to do so in the association’s name, in the extent which is allowed or necessary to provide the User with service and assistance in problem solving, compare information in order to assure its accuracy, solve dispute, verify the User’s identity, adjust, analyse and improve the service, to protect the interests of the User and CWEP, and to prevent and fight fraud. The Personal Data delivered may also be used to provide technical support, to develop new functionalities based on the service rendered and also to improve them in order to increase the ease with which the service is used.
Data Retention & Backup Policy
All the production systems are secured by daily backups that enable CWEP to react quickly in case of an unexpected events such as for example hardware failures. This means, that once a request for Personal Data removal is received, it is removed without unnecessary delay from the production systems but is still present in the backups. The Personal Data is finally removed entirely after a full backup cycle which is up to 60 calendar days.
Data disclosure to third parties
Personal Data collected will not be sold or disclosed in any manner to any third parties, unless an obligation to do so arises from the law, in the case of breach of the applicable regulations, or in order to protect the rights of CWEP or others from illegal or harmful actions.
CWEP could be obliged to disclose the Personal Data to Erasmus+ National Agency responsible for the particular project for the purpose of auditing. Such request could also be issued by the supervisory body to the Erasmus+ National Agency, namely the European Commission.
The association CWEP reserves the right to disclose Personal Data to certain third parties subcontracted by CWEP to perform certain current business activity operations. It should be noted that CWEP shall exercise due diligence to assure that the third parties to which the Personal Data are to be disclosed for the aforementioned purposes, will treat the Personal Data disclosed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of CWEP and in a manner compliant with the applicable law. Moreover, the User Personal Data may be disclosed in case of the sale or restructuring of CWEP.
Cookies
The use of cookies by CWEP is required to provide optimal functionality of the service. Cookies are stored on the hard disk of CWEP and may be used to adjust the Users’ individual preferences and to collect general statistical data.
Changes to Personal Data
The user has the right to request access to and rectification or erasure (“right to be forgotten”) of Personal Data or restriction of processing concerning the data subject or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability. Some information may be displayed and edited via the Internet using an Internet browser, upon logging into the service provided by CWEP.
CWEP shall reply to requests concerning displaying, correcting, completing and deleting Personal Data in reasonable time and upon the verification of the User’s identity.
CWEP shall make all reasonable efforts to meet the requests of Users to delete Personal Data, unless these data need to be stored because of applicable law or legal business purposes.
Account deactivation
After a request to delete Personal Data is received by CWEP, the Personal Data in question will be locked without unnecessary delay and access to the service will no longer be possible. The Personal Data is going to be stored for up to 30 calendar days making it possible to be recovered in case the account deactivation request was made by mistake. After 30 calendar days, the restoration of Personal Data will no longer be possible.
To preserve ongoing activities, and to prevent confusion for other users, certain content will not be deleted. This includes all the information provided and entered to date to the service (such as for example messages or files). Following the account deactivation, this information will be labelled as “Deactivated User”. Prior to account deactivation request, the abovementioned content can be manually deleted.
Children
The service is not designated for children under 18 years of age, and is also not designed to attract their attention. CWEP does not collect Personal Data from children under the age of 18 years, and in some jurisdictions from children aged 18 years, in an intended and deliberate manner. We encourage parents to take interest in their children’s Internet activity, in order to guarantee that no information is obtained from children without parental consent.
Safety
CWEP applies technical and organizational means to protect the Personal Data collected by CWEP from unauthorized access or improper usage by unauthorized persons. The applied methods and technical means are improved along with the development of new technologies, needs and available protection methods.
Data Protection and Storage
The information collected by CWEP is kept for a reasonable period of time in order to enable its use for the purposes specified herein. The association CWEP may use the services of third parties (companies) in order to collect and store collected information on its behalf. All such companies will have to meet the requirements of this Privacy Policy.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
CWEP reserves the right to change the principles of this Privacy Policy at any time. The User’s rights resulting from this Privacy Policy will not be limited without the consent of the User.
All changes to this Privacy Policy shall be published in a clear manner on the service offered by CWEP. The Users of CWEP service are bound by the current version of the Privacy Policy. The previous versions of this Privacy Policy are kept in archives in order to enable Users to become familiar with them, if necessary.
